Nara Chandrababu Naidu (April 20, 1950) is the National President of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP). He was the first Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh after it was separated, holding office from 2014 to 2019. Prior to the state’s division, he was Andhra Pradesh’s Chief Minister from 1995 to 2004. From 2004 to 2014, he represented the opposition in the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly. He has governed as Andhra Pradesh’s Chief Minister for the greatest period of time (14 years).
